Polaroid Passion

I’ve decided to create this blog to share my passion for Polaroids. If I go back in time I believe that I’ve caught the polaroid virus, many years ago with my grand father. He had a Polaroid, but it was “forbidden fruit” for me. I was 7-8 years old and it was almost a miracle to me to catch a moment in a square frame and all the rituals behind like shaking the film (now I realize that is was a stupid thing to do) and waiting for the full development of the picture.

One day, my grand father decide to surprise me  and told that I could spent a entire cartridges with my own pictures and it was a joy, of 10 shoots in 10 minutes. Now 30 years after, I’ve crossed again with vintage polaroids and it has awaken again my enthusiasm for the instant photography from the 60’s to 80’s.

I will use this blog to post some of my restoration  and rehabilitation projects involving old polaroid cameras, mostly SX-70, but also land and, 600 series and Spectra/IMAGE cameras.
